Account Executive
This position is fully remote and based in the US. GitGuardian recruits in 5 different States: CA, TX, IL, NY, MA.
Context
GitGuardian is a global post series B ($56M) cybersecurity startup, with American and European investors including top-tier VC firms.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Docker co-founder / CTO Solomon Hykes 👀.
We develop a source code security platform for the DevOps generation. Our solutions are already used by more than 300K developers across the world!
Having most of our income in the US, we are now looking for our next top Account Executives to help our high growth and conquer this boiling market.
You will work closely with our 15 Sellers based in the US and France (Account Executives, Account Managers & Sales Engineers) that help streamline the sale cycle. You will work under the direct supervision of the VP of Sales.
Missions
- Evangelize and develop an interest in GitGuardian’s products,
- Drive the adoption and acquisition of new accounts, creating a pipeline of Fortune 500 accounts across the US,
- Handle the whole sales cycle, in complex environments:
- Build strong relationships and align multiple stakeholders in large buying teams (from CISOs to Leads, in Security, Engineering, DevOps teams…),
- Frame and launch complex proof of concepts along with our Sales Engineers,
- Build up the best proposals and finalize negotiation along with legal and procurement teams.
Requirements

- Significative experience in high-growth SaaS company,
- Experience in DevSecOps, AppSec,
- Handled and led complex and long sales cycle thanks to a strong methodology,
- Proven strong sales performance and quota attainment.
- Excellent communication skills.

To prepare at home and to present to Guillaume (Sales Director): to evaluate your skills for the position.
4. Final interview with the CEO
To explain to you our company’s vision and ambitions to the next couple of years, and make sure you are up for the position.
