About GitGuardian
GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, New-York City, Boston.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian.
Every day, thousands of secrets — API keys, passwords, certificates — leak into code. One exposed credential is all it takes to breach a Fortune 500. At GitGuardian, we're the ones who stop that from happening.
We protect over 600K developers and some of the world's most security-conscious organizations. Our platform scans billions of commits, detects secrets in real time, and orchestrates remediation at a scale no one else can match.
GitGuardian leads the way in Non-Human Identity security, offering end-to-end solutions from secrets detection in code, productivity tools and environments to strong remediation, observability and proactive prevention of leaks. Our solutions are already used by more than 600K developers worldwide!
About your team and your mission
We've just raised a major round to go even further — and we need a product leader who can take our detection engine and integrations ecosystem to an entirely new level.
This isn't a PM role where you'll optimize button colors. You'll own the systems that scan Petabytes of code across the world's largest enterprises, build the integrations that embed GitGuardian into every developer workflow, and forge strategic partnerships with AWS, Google, and Microsoft. If you've ever wanted to build a product at the intersection of massive-scale infrastructure and developer security — this is it.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Own the Integrations Ecosystem strategy and execution (SCMs, cloud providers, CI/CD pipelines, secrets managers, ticketing systems, and SIEMs) to make GitGuardian the default security layer in every enterprise development stack.
Push the boundaries of our Detection Engine at Scale, working with engineering to scan Petabytes of code in real time with high accuracy across monorepos, cloud storage, and SaaS platforms.
Spend 40% of your time on Strategy & Partnerships: Defining the integrations roadmap, prioritizing platform bets, and leading partnership conversations with AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
Spend 30% of your time on Discovery: Interviewing security and platform engineering teams at Fortune 500 customers to understand their infrastructure at scale and identify gaps in our coverage.
Spend 30% of your time on Execution: Writing specs with engineering, planning sprints, tracking adoption metrics across integrations, monitoring detection engine performance at scale, and iterating.
Stack and tools
Product: 500+ secret detectors, ML-powered intelligence, Internal & Public Monitoring, NHI Governance. Integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, ServiceNow, Jira, AWS, GCP, Azure, and secrets managers.
Tech: Python, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, large-scale data pipelines.
PM toolkit: Linear, Notion, Claude & ChatGPT, Amplitude, Metabase, Figma.
About you
If you think you match at least 70% of these criteria, please apply!
Here's what we consider essential for success in this role:
Fluent English. GitGuardian's company language is English — you'll need full professional fluency to communicate across teams, customers, partners, and geographies.
5+ years in B2B SaaS product management: You've shipped integrations, platform features, or infrastructure products that real companies depend on at scale.
Understanding of Enterprise infrastructure: You know how Fortune 500 companies build and operate their development environments — SCMs, CI/CD, cloud platforms, secrets management, observability.
Integrations & ecosystem thinking: You've built or managed integrations, APIs, or developer platforms.
Product discovery chops: You can independently plan and run customer interviews, synthesize insights into crisp problem statements, and turn them into opportunity hypotheses that drive a roadmap.
Data-informed decision-making. You're comfortable defining success metrics, building and reading dashboards (Amplitude, Metabase, or similar), and designing experiments to validate decisions.
The following skills would strengthen your application but aren't required:
You've worked as an engineer, or you deeply understand scaling challenges — orchestration, data pipelines, high-throughput processing, Kubernetes, or similar. You can reason about architectural trade-offs with staff engineers.
Background in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or developer tools — you understand what keeps security teams up at night.
Experience with cloud marketplace listings (AWS Marketplace, GCP Marketplace, Azure Marketplace) or partner program ecosystems.
Familiarity with writing lean, actionable PRDs — clear scope, assumptions, edge cases, acceptance criteria.
You speak French (our team is in Paris, after all — but it's not required).
